W.O Larsen Classics.

Some Turkish things seemed to have stuck too.  :)

My dear friend, there were about 500 till 700 Cafe in Constantinople area before 1453 BC, Greeks brought the coffee from Yemen. The turks came from steppe so they copy almost everything from Greeks/Persians/Arabs and later represent those things as their own. The first Cafe in turkey opened at 1555 BC and now No coffee [and smoking and wine or beer] in turkey, only tea in small glasses as the muslims do. As for the Belly dance comes from Greece and fertility rituals in honor of female Gods such as Aphrodite, Astarte, Artemis ,Hecate etc and with the help of explores and Alexander the Great many other peple learn about it but as always the turks degenerate this too.  ;)

I am smoking Briar Patch King's Ransom in the memory of Markos Botsaris, one of the most respectful person in the Greek Independence War of 1821 against turks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markos_Botsaris
In Strasbourg they gave his name in a square, in Paris on a road and in a Metro station.

Here in the Military Museum of France his weapons and his pipe.

Yes, he was "one of us".

' Speraaa from Greece, i am smoking Samuel Gawith St. James Flake in a Savinelli, filtered water beside me while reading the news and i remembered what i read 2 months back and still i am trying to understand:

She argues that the a disproportionate number of math educators are white, while the study itself teaches mostly Greek and European-established methods
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5018223/Professor-says-math-perpetuates-white-privilege.html
Teaching the Pythagorean Theorem or "pi" in geometry class perpetuates white privilege by giving the “perception that mathematics was largely developed by Greeks and other Europeans.”
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/oct/25/professor-geometry-perpetuates-white-privilege-bec/

if she is suffering from "tongue bite" in pipe smoking will she accept to fix her problem while using mathematics to measure the bowl size, the bowl hole, the size of the filter etc?

Fascinating, Sid. Frankly I never knew most of this.

As to pipes:
It was Monday when Iast enjoyed a pipe - a Leonessa bent billiard loaded with Beck's Ol'e Limey Bastard. Since then the weather has not been inviting for my outdoor fumatory pleasures. Maybe tomorrow.

Although the turks had contact with the Byzantines from 1100 AD didn't manage to open a Cafe by their own that's why that first "Non Greek" Cafe opened by two Egyptians 450 years later. The turks close it the first day and beat the customers because they believed that the crowd was gathered for conspiracy but after a huge bribe from the 2 owners the Cafe opened again.
