McClelland 5110 "Dark Full English"
« on: August 09, 2012, 01:18:27 AM »
I have been going through McClelland's Frog Morton blends, starting with Frog Morton, then moving on to the variaties of (I.E. Across the Pond, On the Bayou), but have yet to try "On the Town". I recently picked up 4 ounces of 5110 and Ii found it to very remenicent of my fav, "Frog Morton". It is a reletively cool smoke, great flavor and I personallt love the note, though you may want to leave it open for a day to lessen the moisture. It isn't overly moist, but I preffer one light and no gurgle. It is a very enjoyable blend that I woul recomend to anyone starting to get into english blends, or anyone who likes a mellow english.
Might wanna get that checked out ....

I also  picked up 4 oz. of 5110 and fully agree about how close it is to Frog Morton. It's going into my cellar soon.

Actually, Since I added the prior post McClelland's 5110 has become a personal favorite, I like it better than FM and often use it mixed with other English style tobaccos to enrich them.
